You just want to hide under a rock and never come out. You feel tired all the time and you can’t concentrate. Are you sick? Is something wrong with you? You may be dealing with Stress – everyone does – and the signs are there if you care to look.

Soreness in the Body and Weekend Headaches

When you feel tense, your muscles tighten. Tight muscles lead to sore muscles. Some people feel soreness in their back. Others may experience soreness in a leg or arm. Should this happen to you, you may not feel like getting out of bed or performing your usual tasks. A body that feels like this is suffering from stress. It’s important to get your body to relax and unwind. Try listening to music or take a soothing bath. Go to the store and pick out scented body wash or candles to help you set the mood. If you tend to get headaches on Saturday or Sunday, it may be due to a decrease in stress.

Lack of Concentration and Enthusiasm

Do you panic when you have to choose what to eat for dinner? Do you clam up during conversations and forget what you wanted to say? If you find yourself struggling to make a decision, stress may be the culprit. It may be hard to work up enthusiasm for subjects you once loved. How can you when you feel so overwhelmed?
